Our
standard courses comprise of the following:
Courses
are available in either intensive format, conducted over several
days ( dependant on ability) or can be tailored to suit your availability.
CBT training is normally conducted at weekends but weekday courses
are available by arrangement.
THEORY
TEST/ TRAINING
As from 1 Feb 2001 it
is now compulsory for all pupils wishing to take their bike test
to pass a theory test. Theory training involves usung a computer
with a CD ROM, the
instructor will go through the questions with you and also give
you the chance to test yourself. If you have access to a computer
you may borrow a CD to practice at your own pace in your own time.
CBT
Under current legislation anyone wishing to ride a bike on the road
must complete a CBT course. Compulsory basic training is not a test,
however you have to demonstrate your competance before being issued
with a certificate.

INTERMEDIATE
Having completed a CBT
course, further training will be required to bring you up to test
standard. This training is conducted on road using 125cc machines,
and the amount of time required will be dependant on ability.
This course is
identical to the direct access course albeit on a smaller machine.
DIRECT
ACCESS
If you are 21 or over, it is now possible to do your bike training
on a big bike. We currently use 500cc or 600cc bikes. Subject to
competance we will allow students to train and take their test on
these bikes. Once you pass your test, you will not be restricted
on the size of bike you are licenced to ride.

SKILLS
If you are a qualified rider, we will train you in advanced topics
to improve your skill and safety on the road.
PERSONALISED
TRAINING
Advanced topics to your requirements will be covered. Whether you
wish to improve your technique in cornering or wish to learn how
to handle pillion passengers, we can tailor a course to suit you.
